Opposite Paxi lies Antipaxi, a small magical island with a population of just 20. However, its settlements attract many more visitors and are renowned for their wonderful beaches as well as their serene, secluded spots. You can explore them in organised groups – in that case, you will set off from Gaios – or rent a boat to tour the island on your own. The coastline of Antipaxi is particularly interesting, as it is dotted with many small bays (ex. Rodovani) , caves (ex. Chelidonograva) and wonderful sandy beaches of Voutoumi, Vrika and Agrapidia. It is worthwhile to visit the church of Saint Aemilianus. The vast vineyards of the island are very important to its inhabitants as they enable them to produce excellent wine from famous grape varieties. It is actually very difficult to find it in the market. So, when you come to Paxoi, don’t forget to taste it!
