Founder and C.E.O. Tony Vamvakidis is a person of the sea being a regatta athlete since the age of 6 and an active Captain to date.  He obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Hartford Connecticut in 1989 and is deeply devoted to his passion which he turned into business at the very start of his entrepreneurial career. Nothing is left to chance, the selection of Personnel, Yachts, Service Teams and suppliers is carefully scrutinized by him his profound experience in the field making the difference.

Maira has over 3 years of experience in the field of shipping and travel . Italian literature was her major at the University in Italy and she is currently responsible in the communication sector along with customer services. At North Star Yachting Maira holds a position in administration.

Spiros is every bit and byte behind North Star. He has specific studies and knowledge in Information Technology including a wide array of MIS applications and Web related media.
Apart from the above tasks he is an organization master and the Human Resource responsible for the team. He is born by the sea and is a holder of High Speed Boats Captain s license. Spiros has specific knowledge in design and implementation of Yacht Wi Fi networks and entertainment systems. He keeps fit by wakeboarding and kite surfing year round.

Labis has devoted his life in the sea since his childhood. Very profound technical knowledge drove him “ashore” for few years to the Master Engineers position of Renault Automobiles, but to no avail… his passion for the sea and yachting got him back on the water!
Holder of RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Sailing and Powerboat Licenses and fully RYA qualified on Sea Survival and First Aid Courses made him essential to the North Star Yachting Team. He has logged over 20,000 cruising miles and has orchestrated pre delivery inspections, regular maintenance of yachts, remote and on site problem solving, maiden voyages of yachts under his command and all yachting related similar functions. Lambis speaks Hellenic, English, Portuguese, Spanish. He is a triathlon athlete and a jetski and snowmobile champion.

Marinna is the youngest entry of North Star Yachting. Not only she has proven to be  a great help in receptionist and secretarial tasks, but she is also very communicative and proved to be a real charm in Clients and collaborators assistance. Her extensive travelling gives her specific knowledge and has proven very efficient in matching charterers needs to selected destinations and itinerary planning. She is following parallel studies in Computer Applications programming and we have great aspirations for her corporate climbing. Marina is a diver swimmer and a classical dancer.

Christian came aboard in 2005 when his hidden culinary magnificence opened the galley door of one of our yachts for him. It was very soon that we all discovered that this pleasant and always smiling face revealed a very capable yachting professional. Christian is a trainee broker and salesperson. Assisted by his passion for travelling the globe for many years he has built a full personality and above all competent communication skills and the special ability to liaise to the most diverse cultures and personalities.
